The next meeting of the Armenian Parents’ Support Group of the Lanterman Regional Center will take place
on Tuesday May 21, 2019 from 6:30 pm to 8:30 pm at the Library Connection, located at 1100 E. Chevy Chase Dr. Glendale, CA 91205.
The topic will be PANDAS which stands for Pediatric Autoimmune Neuropsychiatric Disorder Associated with Streptococcal Infections. This is a rare disorder characterized by the association of a tic disorder or OCD (obsessive-compulsive disorder) with a streptococcal infection and neuropsychiatric symptoms.
The recent recommended diagnostic and treatment guidelines will be discussed.
The featured speaker will be Mary Alvarado M.S., CCC-SLP, a speech pathologist.
