April is World Autism Month, and what better way to wrap it up than by sharing the gift of kindness and awareness with our students.
Every year, AAOP has visited schools both Armenian and non-Armenian that ask us help their students.
The goal is to promote a better understanding of Autism and learn ways to help bridge the gap toward inclusion within our community, starting with our youth.
This year, while we are required to “stay home”, we have the opportunity to share this information with even more families.
Take a moment to watch the Webinar together with your children and talk about what you can do during this time to reach out to a peer with Autism. Discuss ways to connect both while physically distancing and in the future when we can connect in person.
Learn how you can be a friend to someone diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder.
